Main Research Activities

Current research topic : With the huge increase of spent Lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), the development of a cost-efficient and low environment impact recycling process is imminent. The research topic aims at the recovery of anode graphite from spent LIBs and to explore its potential reuse in emerging energy storage systems. The goal of the project is to provide high-quality anode materials with a low environmental footprint and competitive recycling costs.
