Seminar Hiroshi KAGEYAMA
Thursday January 30th at 11.00 a.m. in the Hub Amphitheater, Prof Hiroshi KAGEYAMA, "Ambassador" from Chemistry CNRS (University of Kyoto, Japan), will give a seminar entitled :
“Recent Progress and Future Directions in Mixed-Anion Compounds”
Abstract: Mixed-anion compounds are materials that exhibit novel functionalities, from catalysis to batteries and superconductivity, which are not found in oxides. In my presentation, I will provide a brief overview of mixed-anion research and then discuss two recent topics: unconventional topochemical reactions and strain-driven control of structures and properties.
